This is one the most eccentric clients I have -in this home the client is definitely NOT affraid of colour ! We have the most fun as designers when the clients are involved - my client here has impecable taste , and is more than capable of selecting quirky one of a kind items for her interiors, we as desingers merely help pull the scheme and space planning together .

In this lounge area we specified a pure black feature wall for the fireplace and TV backdrop. we specified a bright green paint to give the clients existing drinks cabinet a new lease on life . The client slected the finky yellow wallpaper for the inside of the drinks cabinet herself , she aslo had the prints up on the walls , we just specified new positioning for these items.

We added a textured rug to pull the furniture together and create some warmth. Funky ottomans (with storage ) were added as additional seating for the lounge and double up as seating for the fireplace in the winter. Baskets with Plants , scatters , throws and accessories were all added to pull the funky space togeher .

In the dining room we took our main decor inspiration from the clients exisitng Tretchikoff framed print . Here we pulled through a contemporary oriental theme , with over the top floral wallapaper on the feature wall , the exisiting stone rivens got some new life with a blue paint wash , and then when in doubt we added some more textured metallic wallpaper as a backrop for the Tretchikoff prints which are refelcted in the mirror on the blue riven wall. Metal plates and some other minimal accessories were added to pull this space together.
